Your software controls machine parks and industrial robots!
Additive manufacturing methods enable tool-free production of complex geometries due to their layer-based build process. IKV has been researching large-scale additive manufacturing for many years. As part of this research, robot-guided systems have been developed that can manufacture large components, such as complete electric cars, in a very short time. Additionally, methods have been developed to efficiently manage complex machine parks, calculate machine paths application-specifically, and predict process parameters using AI. This demonstrates that additive manufacturing, in addition to material and mechanical engineering challenges, relies on innovations in software. This is where you come in!
Your profile:
- You are studying mechanical engineering, CES, computer science, electrical engineering or are completing a comparable technical degree.
- You have a keen interest in innovative manufacturing processes and want to be part of the next milestone in additive manufacturing.
- You have very good knowledge of at least one high-level language (Java, Python, C++).
- You have gained initial experience with web technologies (JavaScript) and are open to expanding this knowledge.
We offer you:
- Exciting topics and a highly motivated team
- A modern plant park consisting of various production facilities and industrial robots
- The opportunity to contribute your own ideas and shape subject areas
