Bachelor thesis
Topic of the work:
Plastic products such as bottles, canisters and films can be coated with a plasma layer to achieve improved media resistance and gas barrier. A special reactor is used to ignite a plasma and deposit the respective layer. Our new reactor is planned with modern measurement technology and several sample stations. For this reason, a concept for a sample and measuring equipment holder is to be developed for this reactor that meets the diverse requirements. The thesis is being written in the Plasma and Surface Technology working group. In addition to layer development and analysis, we also deal with the design and optimization of plasma reactors. Plasma layers are an important mold for achieving closed material cycles, as they promote the use of monomaterial solutions and thus simplify recycling processes.

Objective:
Development of a reliable and easy-to-use insertion of samples and measurement technology into a plasma reactor.
