The question now arises as to whether you should go straight into work after your Bachelor&#8217;s degree or continue studying.<\/p>\n<p>The Master&#8217;s degree programme in Plastics Engineering is the logical continuation of the Bachelor&#8217;s degree programme and deepens and expands the knowledge and skills acquired in the Bachelor&#8217;s degree. It enables increasing specialisation and is more scientifically and research-oriented than the Bachelor&#8217;s degree course. It is also the prerequisite for a doctorate and usually offers better career opportunities after graduation than a pure Bachelor&#8217;s degree programme. A Master&#8217;s degree is a prerequisite for many positions. The decision as to whether you want to start your career as quickly as possible or gain further qualifications with a Master&#8217;s degree must be made on an individual basis.<\/p>\n<h3>Research focus and practical relevance determine the Master&#8217;s curriculum<\/h3>\n<p>Students who opt for the Master&#8217;s degree programme can expect an exciting, industry and research-related curriculum. Similar to the Bachelor&#8217;s degree, the Master&#8217;s degree programme combines the Plastics Technology and Textile Technology fields of study to form the \u2018Master&#8217;s in Plastics and Textile Technology\u2019.
