Visitors were able to experience live which process steps are necessary for <strong>thermoforming<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heating the plastic sheet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deformation over the model tool due to negative pressure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooling and acceptance of the finished component<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was explained why polystyrene &#8211; due to its good thermoformability, rigidity and surface quality &#8211; is particularly suitable for such
