In addition to an exclusive factory tour with ongoing project trials, initial results on the de-inking of post-consumer recycled films were presented &#8211; a promising start that highlights the potential of joint research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-custom-t-rkis-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-64dd70f595e9ecacedca9819d2105e47 wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Sustainability is not a trend &#8211; it is a commitment. We are pleased and proud to have such a strong consortium at our side to significantly advance the circular economy for plastics and flexible packaging &#8211; and this is urgently needed.&#8221; <em>Prof. Christian Hopmann<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consortium brings together players from the entire value chain: from raw material manufacturers, machine builders and processors to recyclers and system service providers. Among others, they include:<br>BASF, Br\u00fcckner Maschinenbau, CONSTAB, Constantia Flexibles, Coperion, Der Gr\u00fcne Punkt, Dow, ENTEX, Essity, Evonik, Hellweg Maschinenbau, HydroDyn, RKW, Siegwerk, S\u00dcDPACK, TOMRA, Windm\u00f6ller &amp; H\u00f6lscher and Zeppelin Systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many thanks to our industry partners for their intensive cooperation.
