This is to be achieved with a membrane half-shell of the rheometer, which deforms under the influence of pressure and thus allows a continuous determination of the pressure level inside the rheometer. In addition, a model is being developed that describes the pressure dependence of the critical wall shear stress, above which wall sliding occurs. The new rheometer is used to determine the material parameters of the model using the example of various rubber compounds with a tendency to wall slip.
