The focus is on the analysis and further development of existing machine systems with regard to technical improvement potential, functional enhancements and process optimization. At the same time, feasibility studies are carried out that provide an outlook on the industrial transfer of the solutions developed. IKV conducts research in this area at the interface between mechanical engineering, process engineering and production engineering. We are looking for committed students who want to play an active role in the further development of industry-related plant technology and functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The work is written in this working group:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work is being carried out in the Plasma and Surface Technology research department at IKV. Current research projects are concerned with the constructive further development and modification of existing test systems as well as the systematic evaluation of the feasibility and scalability of new technical solutions in an industrial context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objective:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the work is the systematic analysis, conceptual design and implementation of modifications to existing systems and the evaluation of their technical feasibility with regard to industrial transfer. The focus is on: (1) the identification of optimization potential in existing plant systems, (2) the design development and prototype implementation of modification solutions and (3) the feasibility
