The stored pvT model is fundamental for the simulations and influences the prediction accuracy of the calculation. Different cooling rates occur in the plastic during the injection molding process. The pvT behavior of the plastics depends on the cooling rates, but this is not yet mapped within the models and thus leads to a reduction in the predictive accuracy of the simulations. In order to better model the cooling rate dependence of the pvT behavior, a pvT measuring cell is to be developed which enables the measurement of the pvT behavior at constant high cooling rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The work is related to this research project:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pvT measuring cell for high cooling rates is being developed as part of the research project. This pvT measuring cell is to be used to better map the cooling rate dependence of the pvT behavior. Subsequently, practical tests and simulations will be carried out to check whether the inclusion of the cooling rate dependence of the pvT behavior improves the prediction accuracy of the simulation. The aim of the research project is therefore to better investigate material behaviour in order to improve simulations for tool design and process optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objective:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the work is to design a measuring chamber geometry that allows high cooling rates at low temperature gradients within the plastic contained therein. In addition, cooling channels are to be designed for this measuring chamber geometry. Attention must be paid to the manufacturability and sensible positioning of the sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your task:<\/h3>\n\n\n<style
