However, determining fatigue strength using the W\u00f6hler method is very time-consuming and resource-intensive. The load increase method is a cost- and time-saving alternative. In the load increase method, the dynamic pulsating load is successively increased and a critical point is determined from which conclusions can be drawn about the fatigue strength behavior of the material. However, not all materials are equally suitable for this process, as previous studies have shown. In dynamic testing, a large number of fatigue or crash tests are carried out as part of industrial projects and internal research at the institute in order to analyse the dynamic material properties of plastics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of this work is to analyse which properties a plastic must fulfill in order to be able to determine suitable fatigue strength values using the load increase method.
