By using simulations, not only the mechanical strength, but also the heat transfer in the mold should be considered. To reduce the computational complexity, a special modeling approach is pursued that considers the Mould and the flow channel of the melt in a single computational grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of your work is the implementation of a heat transfer model of a new simulation environment in the open source software OpenFOAM.
