Thermoset direct fittings offer significant advantages here, as they are economical, can be automated and can be removed without leaving any residue. In a previous project, design recommendations regarding the geometry were identified through process variations. The aim of the work is to validate these design recommendations by means of a simulation. The first step is to identify and develop a suitable replacement model. In order to implement meaningful parameters in the simulation, it is also necessary to characterize the defined thermoset materials with regard to their short-term strength. Finally, the design recommendations of the previous project are to be compared with the results achieved and ideally expanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objective<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the work is the simulation of thermoset direct screw connections. To this end, mechanical tests are carried out, parameter studies for various geometries are set up and model parameters are calibrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your
