Training course DVS 2290 for certified laminators according to DVS 2220

Basic course for apparatus, tank, boat and pipeline builders

2 weeks, incl. test according to DVS 2220

Taking into account the admission requirements, the participant should be able to take the DVS 2220 laminator examination after completing the course. The laminator is responsible for the production and repair of laminate and adhesive joints on e.g. wind turbines, GRP containers and pipelines

Technology

Structure of reactive resins, accident prevention measures, structure of sandwich constructions, production of GRP molds, laminate constructions, repair techniques, cold pressing processes, winding processes, fiber spraying, vacuum and vacuum injection processes, glass and other reinforcing materials, fillers, mixed catalysts, inhibition, weathering and corrosion resistance, apparatus construction; pipeline construction.

Practical expertise

Production of laminates, sandwich parts and working with fillers, repair technology (especially on sandwich constructions), working with adhesives, fiber spraying, cold pressing.

Training course DVS 2291 for plastic adhesive testing

Training course for apparatus, tank and pipeline builders

2 days, incl. examination according to DVS 2221

The participant acquires the knowledge and skills to successfully pass the test for plastic adhesives according to the DVS 2221-1 guideline.

Technology

Material-specific basics of thermoplastics, in particular PVC-U, PVC-C and ABS; marking of pipes and pipe parts, general basics of bonding technology; bonding of PVC-U, PVC-C and ABS pipes and pipe parts; occupational safety; repair techniques; areas of application; testing of bonded joints.

Practical expertise

Production of pipe fitting bonds, preparation of the bonded joint, handling of molds and aids, bonding exercises, repair techniques.
