Modelling and simulation in plastics and textile technology Lecture and exercise

Test-Studium-Vorlesung-Modellbildung-und-Simulation

This course deals with models and simulations of plastics and textile technology.

Contents of the lecture

The lecture uses physical modeling (flow modeling, heat transfer modeling, structural mechanics, etc.).

Current research examples from plastics and textile technology are discussed on the basis of case studies. The course also deals with application technology and its improvement using optimization strategies in modelling and simulation.

Exercise accompanying the lecture

Small group exercises accompanying the lecture put the theoretical knowledge taught into a practical context.
