Next meeting of the H₂ Business and Technology Forum at IKV in April

New participants in the hydrogen network are welcome

On 8 April 2025, the H₂ Business and Technology Forum will be held at the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) in Industry and Craft at RWTH Aachen University. The event provides a platform for experts and companies along the hydrogen value chain to discuss current challenges, technological innovations and market trends. Other interested parties are cordially invited to take part in the forum.

The agenda includes high-caliber presentations from industry and research. After the welcome address by IKV, a market and technology monitoring session will provide an overview of current developments in the hydrogen sector. Newly participating companies have the opportunity to introduce themselves and contribute their expertise to the network.

A special highlight is the presentation by Dr. Carmen Eger (Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) on the challenges of sealing solutions along the hydrogen value chain. BASF will also be presenting innovative developments in the field of Celtec membranes and Ultrason® plastics for the green hydrogen industry with Dr. Carsten Henschel and Dr. Erik Gubbels.

In the afternoon, Rouven Koch (JAG) will talk about the opportunities and challenges of testing hydrogen components. The forum will conclude with an interactive workshop on the creation of a skills atlas by IKV. The event ends at around 16:00.

In addition to the specialist presentations, the forum offers numerous opportunities for networking – both during the breaks and over lunch.
