On 2 and 3 April 2025, RWTH Aachen University cordially invites you to the 29th SAMPE Germany Symposium – the annual meeting place for experts from research and industry in the field of composite materials.

SAMPE, the leading international organization for materials and process engineering, brings together over 5,000 engineers, technologists and scientists with the aim of exchanging technical knowledge, promoting young talent and cultivating international networks.

This year, the focus is on the latest advances in composite processing, particularly with regard to sustainable energy production and the mobility of tomorrow. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading minds in the industry and gain in-depth insights into pioneering research projects and innovations.

As host, RWTH Aachen University offers an excellent platform for presenting the latest developments and interdisciplinary approaches in these fields. Be there when science and industry come together to shape the challenges of tomorrow!

Promoting young talent: Innovation prize

The Innovation Award will also be presented during the 29th SAMPE Symposium in Aachen.

The Innovation Award is given for outstanding scientific studies, bachelor’s, diploma, master’s or doctoral theses. These should deal with innovative material applications, new processing processes or future-relevant material combinations in the field of composite materials.

Conference Dinner

At the conference dinner, participants will have the opportunity to network and relax. It offers participants the opportunity to make contacts, exchange ideas and build new relationships in an informal atmosphere. After a day full of presentations and intensive discussions, the dinner offers a relaxed opportunity to round off the day.

The conference dinner for all participants will take place on the premises of the Erholungsgesellschaft in the center of Aachen:

Table-top exhibition

Throughout the symposium, we offer companies and research institutes the opportunity to position themselves as exhibitors and present their own products and solutions to visitors. The table-top exhibition will take place in the middle of the symposium, in the auditorium of the RWTH main building.
