Pascale Ries received the award from President Walter Viegener, President of the Siegen Chamber of Industry and Commerce, at a gala ceremony in the Siegerlandhalle on November 8. More than 70,000 trainees take part in the IHK examinations in NRW every year. “You have every reason to be proud of your graduation,” emphasised Walter Viegener in his speech. Well-qualified specialists are in demand across all sectors, and the career prospects for young professionals are extremely promising.

He was full of praise for the young award winners: “You deserve to be ‘crowned’ today for your achievements and are real role models for many other young people who are thinking about embarking on vocational training.” Walter Viegener also thanked the trainers in the companies and the teachers in the vocational colleges, who had prepared the ground for a successful start to professional life with their great personal commitment.

Pascale Ries will also be honored as the best in Germany on 09.12.2024 in Berlin. The IKV congratulates her warmly on this prestigious award and wishes her all the best for the future.
