Bachelor- or Master thesis
To increase process consistency, the cavity pressure can be regulated by means of the hot runner needle. The pressure transmission into the cavity is influenced by variable opening strokes. However, only one pressure consumption can be set in this way, so that the setting parameters must also be adjusted depending on the fluctuation.

The work is written in this working group:
You will write your thesis in the process control working group, in which a control concept for regulating the melt flow in the injection mold by varying hot runner needles is being developed. Varying the opening stroke influences the pressure resistance in the flow channel and thus the volume flow of the corresponding gate. The force on the hot runner needle is intended to identify uneven filling of the cavities.
Objective
The aim of your work is to develop a cross-cycle adjustment of the setting parameters to increase the control quality in hot runner pressure control.
