Analysis of multi-cavity molds – investigation of the switching behavior

Bachelorarbeit oder Masterarbeit

Das Ziel Deiner Arbeit ist die Untersuchung des Umschaltverhaltens von der Einspritz- auf die Nachdruckphase für Mehrkavitätenwerkzeuge.

The compression phase significantly influences the shaping of thin-walled component elements and the surface quality. The switchover point from the injection phase to the holding pressure phase sets the compression phase, meaning that the correct switchover point is crucial for good component quality.

The work is related to this research project:

Multi-cavity molds are often used to increase process efficiency. As part of the project, a cavity-specific control of the process control is to be developed using individually controllable hot runner sealing needles. The melt flow is regulated by means of variable opening strokes.

Objective:

The aim of your work is to compare and evaluate different switching criteria on the multi-cavity mold to increase process consistency.

Your task

Experimental design and implementation to compare different switching variants Experimental design and implementation to compare different switching variants
Analysis of component quality and test evaluation Analysis of component quality and test evaluation
Evaluation of the switchover variants Analysis of the optimum switchover variant in combination with cavity pressure control
