The production of rubber products is often based on decades of knowledge. To improve the efficiency of the rubber mixing process in internal mixers, it is systematically studied within the Rubber Preparation research group. Subsequently, economic and ecological metrics are reviewed and optimised with a focus on resource-efficient manufacturing methods.
