HiWi for the elastomer injection moulding working group

As a student assistant, you will support our team in current research and industry projects.

Elastomer injection moulding is the primary method for producing rubber moulded parts. The majority of such parts are used in sealing, damping, and insulation applications in the automotive sector. Due to sustainability requirements, low scrap rates are essential, which places high demands on the process to consistently produce high-quality products.

Your tasks:

Your tasks will include carrying out and evaluating injection moulding tests, component tests, simulations and designs. Due to the different steps from the raw material to the high-quality end product, your work is very varied and also offers a lot of creative freedom.
