Generate Datasets through Simulation
In form pressing, moulding compounds are processed into large, thin-walled components, such as spoilers and tailgates. Research is exploring the use of this material for battery housings in electric vehicles to drive the advancement of electromobility. Current projects at the IKV focus on optimising fibre orientation in these components, implemented through simulation.
