To strengthen our team in the research field of elastomer injection molding, we are looking for a research assistant (TV-L 13) to start as soon as possible.
Join our team and help shape a sustainable plastic production!
Elastomers are irreplaceable in many applications in the automotive, energy and medical technology sectors, as well as in the construction industry, where they are used, for example, in the construction industry. used as seals or dampers. Nowadays, complex molded parts made of elastomers are mainly manufactured using injection molding. Due to increasing market requirements, the development and optimization of plant and tool technology as well as process technology to improve efficiency and quality is becoming increasingly important.
Current research topics include, for example the adhesion of liquid silicones to thermoplastics for use in medical technology or the reduction of energy and material consumption in the production of elastomer molded parts.
